HELPING STUDENTS FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS

The Michael John Lanahan, Jr., Scholarship Fund

In 1988 Michael and Mary Anne Lanahan created a scholarship fund at Bishop Kenny High School in honor of their eldest child, Michael John Lanahan, Jr., who was a senior at the school when he died in a tragic accident. For more than 30 years, the fund has been providing tuition assistance to students at Bishop Kenny in memory of Michael John’s generous spirit. Since the fund was established, more than 145 scholarships have been awarded.
